How does a safari work?

You will be taken either by small plane or by car to the safari lodge. Here you will be welcomed and shown to your accommodation.
In the morning you wake up quite early, around 6:30 am so as to have breakfast before starting the day’s first game drive, which is usually at 8:00 am. Around 1 pm , when the weather can become uncomfortably hot, you return to the lodge and have lunch, followed by a siesta. In the Afternoon, you gather for tea and go for the evening game-drive, usually around 5:30 pm. Here you can also view nocturnal animals which hide during the day. The drive usually ends around 8:00 to 9:00 pm. At night you gather for dinner and drinks and socialize around the fire place.
